summer's been okay so far, but a little dull...
i don't really have a lot to say, but i just want to post...

so i've been seeing some friends, but not as much as i have been hoping for...

someone, give me something to post about!! PLEASE

Basically, I know I haven't posted in a LONG time- so I'm very very sorry about that, but about Illinois, it was super fun and I'm about to post it, but I wanted to tell people that I am finally out of school and really excited! I can't wait to just sleep in and hang out with friends all summer...of course we are moving too! That isn't so fun, but at least it's not to a different country. We have to move to a different suburb in the Halifax area, but we are petitioning to stay at the school we went to last year.
I am very sad to let the nineth graders go from MSMS to CPA and I'll miss them like hell!! I can't imagine it without them because they are so cool!
I also think that I'm going to go into nineth grade next year instead of eighth like I normally would be for multiple reasons... Not only is it because the academics will be just chalenging enough for me in nineth grade, but also because, as I have friends going into eighth, nineth, and tenth grade- the tenth graders going off to CPA high school, I would be able to see my friends that were in my grade last year during our lunch periods and during our breaks, etc...I would get to see my friends going into nineth grade being in their grade, but I would also get to see my friends that are going into high school a year sooner ( which is a good thing).
I pretty much have my mind made up about moving up a grade, but Sandbox, I believe wishes to stay going into eighth grade, and my parents basically want us to stay together, so it won't work out to everybody's liking if it goes any way. I am POSITIVE that I do want to go into nineth grade, but Sandbox and Plug don't want us to be separated. I DON'T CARE THOUGH!! I have it all planned out!!
Putting that aside, we had school awards the other day on the last full day of school, (which was Wednesday), and I won and Academics award for being the top in the class, or something like that, which, I guess, is pretty cool.
Also on Wednesday (night) I went to Semi-formal with a friend and had a BLAST!! Oh! It was very VERY fun!!
I went to to people's parties on Friday- one, just for it being the last day of school...and we hung out for 8 hours...it was pretty awesome while we had a TON of people there- some eighth, nineth, and tenth graders too!! It was pretty cool!! The other party was a friend's birthday party! It was also a very good party and I had a LOT of fun!! I go to see a lot of people and I had a great time!! Again, I am very sad to leave all my friends for the summer, especially those going to high school in the fall, but I hope I can see a lot of friends over the summer and have a lot of fun with them.

I'm soo sorry that I haven't posted in a while but I'm working on a friggin' sweet one about my time in Illinois, so just wait a little longer. Basically it was UBER- fun and I wish I lived there right now, but I just wantedto post to say sorry fro it being such a long time, but I want to post it soon...I had a really great time and I miss them all over again- it was heart-breaking to leave a second time, but I can't wait to see everybody in the summer.

This is just a quick post before I leave...

I don't know if anyone knew already, but for Christmas, I got the sweetest bunny anyone could ask for!!!!!! It is the most adorable thing ever!!! This picture I have up is actually Benji Footloose (my bunny's name) and is he Ka-yute or what!!!!!!!?????? He's just adorable!!! I love him. Actually, we don't really know if he's a "he" or a "she", but i guess we figure he's a boy at the moment...

I am very hesitant to leave him- because this is the first time I've left him alone since I've gotten him, and I know everything will be fine- one of my friends is going to be taking care of him- but I'm a mommy now and mom's worry- we all know that!!!! Well, I just wanted to say "toodles" for a little while, until we come home!!!

To all who don't know, My family and I are going to Illinois for 2 weeks, leaving in 2 days!!!!! I'm soooooo very excited and canbarely wait!!!!!!!! That is basically why I'm posting, because I have nothing else to say, but I know I can be posting on my events during the trip when I get back!! (and if you can't hint, I probably won't be posting while I'm there because I'll be very busy catching up with the people I've missed!!) But this is just a heads-up to let everyone know that a big post is coming up, and that I shall be absent for about two weeks, but not to worry- I'll be back soon!!!

Hey, people!!
My post today is about the week before this current one...

So, the Monday that started the week was the first day of the school carnival thing...it was Pajama Day!! And, naturally I wore....that's right- pajamas!! I wore just a t-shirt and pajama pants, and these freakin' huge gorilla slipper that were literally like my size!!! Also, for the carnival, I was voted best dressed for Monday, so I got to compete at lunch in front of everyone with a guy from my class where we- the girls, had to get lipstick and try to cover their whole face with it and then feed them a banana from behind them. They would sit in a chair on the stage with a trash bag on with cut-out arm holes and head holes...the girls would kneel behind them with our hands going through their arm holes and try and accomplish this without seeing what the heck we were doing...our class didn't win, but it was still fun.

Then, Tuesday was Twin Day where people would come to school with a partner dressing the same...I came to school with a friend...we both wore a really bright blue t-shirt and a red bandanna, skinny jeans, vans (certain kinds of shoes) and a belt and belt buckle. I do already have a twin so I didn't really have to try, but it was still fun to go with someone else. I won again for "best dressed" for Tuesday, and I got to compete again for our class. In the competition, another boy from my class and I had to try to chug a full baby bottle of apple juice...it had the weird succulent stub on the top, so it was hard to suck all that apple juice down. I finished my bottle just a second after the first one, and my partner took a long time to get ahold of the bottle, so again- we did not win.

Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday, but school was cancelled so we didn't get to do anything- and I had a really cool wacky outfit all planned out...BUT IT DIDN'T MATTER- BECAUSE WE GOT THE DAY OFF!!!!!!!!

So, Thursday was Retro Thursday, and I decided to go with the 80's...I didn't win with the class, but it was the dance competition that day- and I absolutely suck at dancing, so I didn't really mind...but, my friends got to go up and dance it out...the ones from another class- a few of my friends- we'll call them Tay-tay and J-Lo (two guys), went up and did their thang!! It was so funny, I almost peed my pants!! They did like everything, and it was so funny!!! They did their disco, and they did the YMCA, and even slow danced!! They actually lost, and everybody was so shocked because everyone liked them best and they got the most cheers!!

Now Friday was Spirit Day, and you were supposed to come to school wearing school colors or something to represent and promote MSMS- our school, and I decided to kinda make fun, and wear my old school colors (orange and black), with my tiger scarf, and bright orange shirt reading UMS Track and black pants!!! Obviously, since I wasn't wearing MSMS school colors, I wasn't voted "best dressed", but I was still proud!! The contest for Friday was a limbo contest, and I can't remember who won, but I had fun just cheering everyone on!! Also, because Wednesday was cancelled, they made up for the pudding contest where one of the partners tries to feed the other pudding- both blind-folded- and see who can finish first...that went by pretty quickly, and it was fun!!

I took the week very seriously with the outfits, and it was great fun!!! I had fun that week more than most of my weeks, which is good progress, because it's difficult for me to feel good about my school weeks, but it was fun, and I liked dressing up!!

HEY GUYS!!!!!! I'm back!! I know it's been forever since I last posted but i want to get back into it!! My post today is about my new haircut!!

About a week and a half ago, I went to plug and told her that I wished to cut my hair...I'd been in a dilemma over which hair-cut I really wanted and finally came to a decision. I drew her a very quick sketch of what I wanted it to look like and we whipped out the cutting scissors.
I wrapped a towel around my neck and we began.
After the first "snip", she showed me the piece of hair she cut off. let me just say- wow!!
She kept cutting, and once she had finished the last touches, I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. It was really short. Not really short, but shorter than I've had in a long time...

I know I don't have much to report, but I wanted to talk about something, so I decided to post about my new "do"...
